They offer two on-going workshops in the LA area, one on Wednesday nights in Woodland Hills; and one on Thursday nights in Burbank at Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank. Both workshops perform in the regular “Beyond Standup” shows at Flappers.
Plus, they offer regular Industry Nights, where comedians are seen by top agents, managers and casting directors and have gotten lots of work in the industry.
Barb and Steve North have performed all over the world as a comedy team; produced or performed on over 30 National TV shows, and head up Brook Forest Entertainment, a TV and comedy development company, with a star-studded roster of comedians and TV projects.
The North’s have taken many budding comedians from hopefuls to full blown comedy careers. “Graduates” of Barb & Steve’s classes have been on scores of TV shows, sitcoms; winners of festivals, and headliners at clubs across the world. They have worked with everyone from George Carlin to SNL’s Leslie Jones.
